DNA-encoded library (DEL) technology has emerged as a powerful tool for the rapid identification of pharmaceutical lead compounds. New reactions compatible with DELs can significantly expand the potential chemical space available to this technology. However, they must work under aqueous conditions in the presence of DNA.
